No Time To Rejoice Yet Cowboys Fans

The Cowboys have run out of people to point the finger towards for their failures. "Pacman" Jones, "Tank" Johnson, and Terrell Owens are no longer on the team. We are supposed to believe that having those players on the team is what kept them from winning it all and now that they're gone, the sky's the limit in Big D. The team's failures had nothing to do with their star qb completing more passes to the other team than his own in crucial moments, or the defense getting lit up in divisional games? Or how about the offensive coordinator becoming predictable with his play calls?

All I can say is the same thing that waiter said to Dave Chappelle in the restaurant. Chappelle was in a restaurant in the south, looked at the menu, and as he was about to order the waiter said, "Let me guess, you want the chicken." Chappelle was shocked. He asked the waiter, "How did you know I was going to order the chicken?" The waiter responded, "C'mon Buddy, C'mon. Everybody in here knew as soon as you walked in that door, you were gonna order the chicken."

That's the only way to describe the Cowboys' claims for their collapse last year. C'mon Buddy, everybody knew that as soon as you didn't make it to the playoffs you were gonna blame T.O.. That's not even a clever strategy. Let's blame a WR for the entire team stinking it up in December. Well Owens is on the Bills now and Romo can throw 200 passes to Witten now if he wants. It won't change the facts of the matter, their coach isn't that good, their offensive coordinator is predictable, and their quarterback isn't clutch. And on top of all of that, the rest of their divisional foes keep getting better.
